Maths Multiplication

In class my group is completing a maths sheet with stategies that we already know. They are... Algorithm, Rounding and Compensating & Place Value. I find these easy now that i have learnt them.

On one side my cards have a times table, on the other is has the answer

This is a maths game called 3,2,1,Boom.

New Maths Strategy

My maths group learnt a new strategy to solve all 9 times tables.

Here is an example of what we learnt...

1.  9 x 95= 855

    (10 x 95=950-95=855)

2.  9 x 2.6=23.4

     (10 x 2.6=26-2.6=23.4)
