New Maths Strategy

My maths group learnt a new strategy to solve all 9 times tables.
Here is an example of what we learnt...

1.  9 x 95= 855
    (10 x 95=950-95=855)

2.  9 x 2.6=23.4
     (10 x 2.6=26-2.6=23.4)
